We can offer defensive driver tuition to advanced level in the whole of the UK. We teach the British Police advanced driving system based on the famous Roadcraft manual. This system has been taught to generations of police advanced drivers and all our instructors former British police traffic officers trained to this standard.     At Drivexcel we specialise in providing driving excellence at minimum cost.  Whether you are an employer seeking to train your drivers or fulfil your obligatory Health & Safety Executive “Driving at Work” risk assessments, an experienced driver looking for advanced and defensive training, someone with a fear of driving,  a newly qualified driver aspiring to the next stage, or a dyslexia sufferer, we have the solution.

     

    All our instructors are ex-police traffic officers, trained to a very high standard and vastly experienced.  

     

    For employers, we offer everything from a comprehensive 90 minute “on the road” driver risk assessment at just £65, to full or half day defensive driver training sessions with risk assessment report included.

     

    Why not take advantage of our “Try Before You Buy” offer?  For employers needing to find a suitable provider to risk assess their drivers we offer a 1 hour session completely free of charge to demonstrate our system.  

     

    For private drivers we offer either  half or full day practical on the road sessions designed with safety in mind - defensive driving to the police system and to  a very high standard

     

    For drivers with a fear or phobia of particular aspects of driving, our principal Mike Weatherstone, as well as being an ex-police driver, is also a qualified CBT therapist (cognitive behavioural therapy) - and can offer a unique blend of driving and therapy skills ideally suited to assist those with this problem.
